Apple Scary Fast: all product launches

M3 may be on the cards

Apple first rolled out its M-chip lineup in 2020 with MacBook Air. The processor is said to have outperformed almost all existing processors in the likes. It then launched a successor M2 and now finally we can expect the M3 chip to go live and hit shelves.

The new M3 chips are special because they are built on TSMC’s 3nm process, similar to what we see on A17 Pro chips in the new iPhone 15 Pro series. It is said to be faster and more efficient than the existing M2 line built on a 5nm process.

Moreover, Qualcomm also launched its new Snapdragon X Elite which is said to be “a worthy opponent” to Apple M2 chip and allegedly “50% faster than Apple M2”.

M3-powered iMacs

The long overdue update is finally coming to iMacs. The iMacs haven’t been updated since the M1-built launch in April 2021. The overall design may be familiar but the changes are expected within the powerhouse.

Most likely, the 32-inch iMac is set for next year’s release, and the 24-inch iMac may be readying for the show.

M3 in MacBook Pros

Apple’s 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro remain fresh and new with M2 Pro and Max chips launched earlier this year. However, reports from Bloomberg suggest that an updated 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 could make it to the Apple launch event with 16-core CPUs, 40-core GPUs, and up to 48GB RAM.

Rumours hint a 13-inch MacBook Pro or maybe a MacBook Air

Possible upcoming Apple products include a 13-inch MacBook Pro, new MacBook Air models, and updated accessories like a USB-C Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse. Other rumoured products like updated iPads, a 32-inch iMac, OLED MacBook Pro, redesigned iPad Pro, and Vision Pro are expected in the next year or more.
